Hypothesis

 

It was hypothesized that if an individual is exposed to a model who is giving correct answers, but is perceived as being mentally ill, then they would have a significantly higher conformity rate to the larger group giving incorrect answers. Those whose partner was not perceived as mentally ill would conform less.

It was also predicted that there will be a significant interaction between the conformity rate and the Fear of Negative Scale scores.
